Creating Passports

Working Together

Passports cannot be made by one person alone. Making a passport is not just about an end product, either. The process leading up to production of the Passport is a valuable learning experience for all parties, working closely together and respecting each other's views, raising the self-esteem and confidence of carers. The process encourages observation, interpretation and recording of information, resulting in a positive attitude and consistency toward the person for whom the passport is produced.

As Passports contain personal information and often photos, it is essential that permission is granted by the Passport owner and/ or family/ caregivers.
